AFP Executive Director Beth Fredrick to Speak in "Countdown to 2020: Advocating to Reach our Goals" Webinar, Nov 30

Countdown to 2020: Advocating to Reach our Goals

Wednesday, November 30
8:30 - 10 AM EST

Local government officials have increasing authority over budgetary and programmatic decisions to meet community needs for family planning – this includes officials at state, province, county, district, or city levels. These decisions directly impact citizens’ ability to obtain contraception and the quality of local programs. Reducing unmet need for family planning means engaging these local decision-makers.

Join Pathfinder International, AFP, and Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs for a webinar to learn more about how the AFP SMART approach is an effective advocacy tool that can be used by practitioners and advocates alike. Since 2009, AFP and its partners have achieved more than more than 200 advocacy wins.
