Heather Marlow, PhD

Dr. Heather Marlow has over 15 years of experience in global reproductive health monitoring, evaluation and research. She previously worked at Mathematica Policy Research in international program evaluation, and at Ipas to improve the monitoring, evaluation, and research of Ipas’ community-based reproductive health work in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Dr. Marlow was a Fulbright Scholar in Honduras, worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in monitoring and evaluation for the Global AIDS program, and as the regional director for South America for Amigos de las Americas.  She has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and has worked on HIV, family planning and safe-abortion services. Dr. Marlow holds a Ph.D. in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MPH from Emory University, and speaks Spanish and basic Portuguese.
