On November 3, the Measurement, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) Project for the Urban Reproductive Health (RH) Initiative will host an end of project event at the FHI360 Conference Center in Washington DC. The event will recognize six years of accomplishments in improving reproductive health and increasing use of modern contraception in urban areas of Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal and Uttar Pradesh, India. 

Speakers from the MLE Project will discuss successful interventions and lessons learned, and there will also be a short film screening, highlighting the non-contraceptive benefits of family planning.

Speakers will include Jose "Oying" Rimon II, Director of the Gates Institute and concurrent Director of The Challenge Initiative (TCI).

In addition, the event will look towards the future of using evidence-informed programming to improve urban RH outcomes worldwide. There will be time for questions and small group discussions following the event.
